In february 2009 the first official dutch “E-Learning Award” has been awarded to the Trimbos Instituut, for their educational games and e-learning programme about the abuse of alcohol, cigarettes and drugs among 12-18 year-olds. The prize was awarded at the 10th national E-Learning congress in Eindhoven.
The jury was especially impressed with the way the project appeals to its target audience. The project uses interactive video, animations, flash games, and customization of the kids’ portal pages.

The project is developed and managed by internet communication agency Puntkom.
